"Compost Smoothie"


While this is not for you but your soil. I would recommend the use of a seperate container due to pesticides and filth that maybe on the rinds of the fruits and vegetables.
Save the rinds and peels of the fruits and vegetables from smoothies and soups
Place them in container and fill with water
Blend on high for 1 minute and pour mixture in garden or on compost pile
This will help replenish your soil with valuable nutrients and cut back on the waste going to the landfill. Thus, making you a much "Greener" person.

"Pudding Ice cream"


3/4 c. French Vanilla liquid creamer

1/2 Package any flavor instant pudding (I perfer fat free sugar free)

1/2 c. Dry milk

2 c. Ice

Optional: add carrots and cabbage

Blend on high for 1 min.

To change up the flavor try adding fresh fruit or nuts.

My kids like to add M&M's or a candy bar for a Blizzard like treat.

"Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Banana Smoothie


1/2 c. French vanilla creamer
1 1/2 c. Soy milk (any milk will do)
1/2 c. Peanuts
1/2 Banana
1/2 c. Hot cocoa mix
2 c. Ice

Optional: add small amounts of carrot and cabbage

Blend on High speed for 1 min.

"Black Bean Dip"


1 can black beans (drained)
2 oz. cheese
1 clove garlic (peeled)
1 small slice onion
1/2 tbsp Blend it up spice
Blend on high speed for 3-4 min. use tamper to help push beans into blade
Serve immediately

"Shrek Juice" (Green Smoothie)


"Shrek Juice"
Everyone loves Shrek, even the kids!!!

3 c. Spinach
1 leaf of Kale
2 c. Grapes
1 Thick slice of pineapple
1 Banana
1 Green apple
1 1/2 c. Ice
Blend for 2 minutes, if you want a thinner drink add less ice or more grapes.
If you want to change it up a bit you can add chard, collards, cabbage and celery.

"Raspberry Cream" Ice cream

Raspberry Cream

1/2 c. Welches White Grape Raspberry juice concentrate
1/2 c. French Vanilla Creamer
1/2 c. Dry milk
1/2 Banana

For extra nutrients add a small amount of carrots, cabbage and squash

Add ice to the 4-5 cup mark
Blend on high speed using the tamper until four mounds appear on the top

Salsa "Estilo Gringo"


Salsa
2 lg. Roma tomatoes
1 lg. Clove garlic
1 slice of onion
1 slice red bell peper
1 sprig cilantro
1/2 squeezed lime juice
1 tbsp. Blend it up spice
Optional: add corn and beans for a chunky salsa
Blend on Varible speed #5 using tamper until desired texture
This is great as a dip on tacos, salads, burittos, or any dish where a southwest flavor is wanted
