"Black Bean Dip"


1 can black beans (drained)
2 oz. cheese
1 clove garlic (peeled)
1 small slice onion
1/2 tbsp Blend it up spice
Blend on high speed for 3-4 min. use tamper to help push beans into blade
Serve immediately

"Shrek Juice" (Green Smoothie)


"Shrek Juice"
Everyone loves Shrek, even the kids!!!

3 c. Spinach
1 leaf of Kale
2 c. Grapes
1 Thick slice of pineapple
1 Banana
1 Green apple
1 1/2 c. Ice
Blend for 2 minutes, if you want a thinner drink add less ice or more grapes.
If you want to change it up a bit you can add chard, collards, cabbage and celery.

"Raspberry Cream" Ice cream

Raspberry Cream

1/2 c. Welches White Grape Raspberry juice concentrate
1/2 c. French Vanilla Creamer
1/2 c. Dry milk
1/2 Banana

For extra nutrients add a small amount of carrots, cabbage and squash

Add ice to the 4-5 cup mark
Blend on high speed using the tamper until four mounds appear on the top

Salsa "Estilo Gringo"


Salsa
2 lg. Roma tomatoes
1 lg. Clove garlic
1 slice of onion
1 slice red bell peper
1 sprig cilantro
1/2 squeezed lime juice
1 tbsp. Blend it up spice
Optional: add corn and beans for a chunky salsa
Blend on Varible speed #5 using tamper until desired texture
This is great as a dip on tacos, salads, burittos, or any dish where a southwest flavor is wanted

"Sherbet"


3/4 c. Welches juice concentrate (any flavor)
2-3 frozen strawberries
1 slice of pineapple
1/2 banana
Optional: Baby carrots, cabbage and squash.
Fill with ice to the 6 c. mark and blend on high speed using tamper until desired texture is achieved. You should see four mounds on top.

Note: I have found that most juice concentrates taste great but as a demonstrator I prefer to use 100% Welches juice concentrates .

"Frozen Banana Coffee"

"Banana Coffee Cooler"
3/4 c. Silk Very Vanilla
3/4 c. Coffeemate French Vanilla creamer
1/2 c. Nestle Hot Cocoa mix
1 banana
2 tbsp. Tasters Choice instant coffee
Fill with ice to the 4 cup mark and blend on high using tamper for 1 minute.

For mixed drinks use Bailey's or Kahlua

You may substitute soy milk and creamer for liquids of your choice.

"Orange Julius"

There are many names for this smoothie, but this is the most popular.

"Orange Julius"
3/4 c. Silk Very Vanilla
3/4 c. Coffeemate French Vanilla creamer
1/2 c. O.J. concentrate
1/2 c. Carnation dry milk
Optional: carrots, cabbage and squash.... Small amounts!
Fill with ice to the 5 cup mark and blend on high using the tamper for about 1 min.

You may use almost any liquid you want. If using milk or plain rice or soy milk you may find that you will need to add some sweetner. I use Organic sugar, approx. 1/3 c.

"Orange Cranberry Relish"

"Orange Cranberry Relish"
2 c. fresh cranberries
1 peeled orange cut in quarters
1/3 c. Sugar
Blend on #3-5 using tamper until desired consistency

This is a great garnish or appetiser serve with Wheat Thins
